ePocket is an online payment service offered by your bank or an authorized ePocket cash issuer through web banking. Simply download install the ePocket wallet software program on your computer or smartphone, and follow the instructions provided by the installation program to link your ePocket wallet to your bank account. Once your ePocket wallet has been installed and linked to an account, you can transfer some cash from your bank account into your ePocket wallet and start spending it at any participating merchant web sites.

The following example illustrates how to withdraw $50.00 into your ePocket, and then spend $1.00 to purchase a song in two easy steps:

1. Withdraw some cash

You use your ePocket wallet software to request a withdrawal of $50.00 cash from your bank account similar to how you withdraw cash from an ATM, but instead of paper bills, you load $50.00 of electronic cash into your ePocket wallet. After $50.00 in electronic cash is loaded into your ePocket wallet, your wallet cash balance will increase by $50.00, and you will be ready to start spending electronic cash from your topped up wallet balance at participating merchants.

ePocket cash is completely private, and no one will be able to trace how you spend your cash except you.

2. Spend some cash

Navigate your web browser to your favorite online music store, and find a new song that you would like to buy. Simply click on the 'Buy with ePocket' button next to the song. When the music store requests your payment of $1.00 for the song, your ePocket wallet will pop up a payment confirmation message, with a payment approval button. After you click the approval button, your ePocket wallet will then send $1.00 in electronic cash directly to the merchant and the song will immediately start downloading! It simply couldn't be easier.
